Hey thanks for making the template for this size trifold available! Can I ask where you got this adventure printed? I'm also trying to figure out specific bleeds and margins.
I ended up getting them printed at Mixam UK (250gsm uncoated), with margins 7mm, bleed 5mm. Mixam is fine, predictable quality, though I'm sure there are better options out there
Hi, love the module! Random question here - this adventure makes mention of "The Storm King" but there's no description. Is that related to some other 3rd party content? Thx!
Hey glad you like it! The "Storm King" doesn't have a canonical definition, it can be whatever you want, whether that's a storm sprite made of clouds and lightning that has influence over the local weather or a faerie that can turn into mist and wield lightning. Whatever form he takes he'll probably be grateful to anyone that frees him from his marble!
I love this but I cannot locate any description of the rooms, i.e. something corresponding to the numbers on them. Am I missing something? Please advise.
You can find the room descriptions in either of the files "shattered-rain-a5-pamphlet.pdf" or "shattered-rain-digital.pdf" under the numbered headings (e.g. "1. Entrance Hall" through "10. Storm Brain"). Let me know if that helps!
A complete, well written, original dungeon with a nice isometric map. An excellent work comparable to the adventures of The Estate. The electricity theme provides several traps, dangers and opponents that will force the mice to think in each room.
Hiya, sorry about that, thanks for letting me know! It should be fixed in the most recent version (for posterity, 2022-10-27), so you should just be able to download it again.
It looks fixed on my end, but let me know if that's not the case!
I needed a spooky adventure for my group's Halloween session and have been wanting to introduce them to Mausritter, so Shattered Rain came along in the nick of time and accomplished both. The theme and trappings of the area offer a lot of opportunity to develop and deliver both tension and a creepy, dramatic atmosphere. It's great stuff and my group enough fun that it has gotten them excited about continuing with their characters through The Estate.
That's so incredible! It's super gratifying to hear when my writing has contributed to a successful game session, but to also facilitate introducing a new system successfully *and* lead to a a new campaign? That's awesome!
I'm so glad you had a good time with it, I'm sure you'll have fun with The Estate! It's a great campaign setting and it sounds like you have no trouble running a fun session.
Brian's work just keeps getting better and better and the map illustration and room design really stands out in Shattered Rain. This is a great adventure to slot in as a one-shot or part of the campaign. I especially like the strong theming throughout.
This is, yet again, another classic from Brian! This adventure is so cool and the design and layout are truly a masterpiece and a masterclass in Mausritter third-party content!

Lovely module!
Noticed a small error: On the items printout, the description for Voltaic Glands is incorrect; it appears to be a condition from another module.
Oh no! You're absolutely right!
Thanks for letting me know, fixed now!

Very classy design, and lots of fun at the table. Great work!

It does help! I thought I had edited my post once I found the descriptions. My group had a blast last time. Cheers.

There is an error in pamphlet. Room numbers (on the map) 5 and 6 should be reversed.

What a sharply presented package - reminds me of the beautiful little location spreads in old issues of dragon!
